The BCCI is angry over Harbhajan Singh’s onfield indiscretion and board sources said that the Nanavati probe is expected to settle whether Bhajji had been provoked by Sreesanth. At the hearing on Friday, Singh did not deny slapping Sreesanth but...

Though i don’t condone Harbhajan’s action, i’d also like Sreesanth to banned for some time at least. Sreesanth has been instigating all this bullcrap and it’s high time the BCCI chastise him before yet another incident like this happens.

What the hell these cricketers wish to offer through this sort of physical assault? Bhajji should get the severest reprimand for exhibiting the muscle power where a smile ao a word could have been just sufficient. There’s nothing wrong if he gets banned for one year. May be an eye opener for him.

I cannot help but agree with Desh. I severely condemn Harbhajan for losing out on his sportsmanship. I cannot find any fault in Sreeshant though. I would request Jayprashanth to kindly elucidate his anger on Sree. It is time that cricketers play rather than meddle around in politics and dirty antics!

Oh yeah Mayuri, so you say Bhajji slapped Sreesanth for no fault of his. I don’t think so. The fact of the matter is Sreesanth and Bhajji both have been hot tempered blokes and this time around Bhajji just went one huge step forward to slap Sreesanth. But then again, he wouldn’t have done that just for nothing. I follow the IPL closely and iv seen Sreesanth celebrate a little too wildly and say a few words after dismissing Mohammed Kaif, insanity in the other match featuring the Rajasthan Royals. In the match against Mumbai Indians too, Sreesanth did induge in the so called dirty ”Gamesmanship”. Others tolerated it, the Hot headed Harbhajan didn’t and we’ve had the result for all of us to see. I don’t condone Harbhajan and i support the BCCI for punishing him. But, the fact remains that sreesanth is going unchecked and it is just a matter of time before a similar incident happens as Sreesanth might not keep his mouth shut for too long. So he needs to be reprimanded. Very simple!

I thought, gone are the days when cricket was referred to as a gentle man’s game. Now with this Generation-x kids on the block, who may have attained fame and money early in their life, it does more to do with aggression rather than smiles !And Bhajji certain needs to be taught how to behave with fellow mates. The whole world has seen Sreenath weep making it very much evident there is never any smoke without a fire !
